Sketchley Cleaners is committed to being a leader in the garment care industry by minimising and in some cases eliminating the impact of our activities on the environment.
The key points of our strategy to achieve this are:
- Phasing out perc / Dry Cleaning and replacing it with environmentally friendlier wet cleaning. This will be completed with the advancement of wet cleaning and finishing technologies as well as textile manufactures producing garments that reposed better to water based cleaning.
- Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst our customers and suppliers.
- Reducing and in some cases eliminating packaging of garments.
- Continuously investing in state of the art cleaning and finishing equipment to reduce water and hydro consumption.
